This procedure defines the method to be used by contractor to measure, assess and report the progress of the project on regular basis. This will enable calculations to be made of cost/man-hour productivity to date and assist in formulating forecasting of future trends. Accurate assessment of the current actual progress of the work on the project as compared with the required status as defined in the baseline contract work schedule provides project management with the data required to ensure that target dates will be achieved.
